What we'll do: Benefit from a relaxation that eases tension, encouraging you to go inside of yourself and listen to your own inner voice. To pay atttention without judging what you find right or wrong, just learning... about yourself.
Stretch muscles you weren't aware of and loosen tightness in an easeful and steady way to encourage opening and lengthening of each part of you.
Strengthen areas of your body that need your attention. Build a firm foundation.
Learn to lengthen your whole spine and stand at your full height. Learn about good body alignment in the process.
Balance your whole being through forward bends, backbends, sidebends, inversions and twist postures, always with your breath awareness.
Learn to use various breathing techniques such as ujjayi breath, kapalabhati, bhastrika and bramari.
No two classes are exactly the same- there are endless variations of postures and sequencing of postures.
In one on one instruction, discover where you might focus your attention to enjoy the calm, peaceful and adaptable being you are at the centre. Learn to still your mind in the ways that are appropriate for you. Find ways to release from particular obstacles in your path to wholeness.
