 Is back pain causing you or someone you care about difficulties at work, restricting daily activities at home or making it difficult to relax or sleep?

Has neck and back pain from an accident not gone away even though you’ve done many things to make it better? Are you tired of missing work because of it? 

Are you sitting all day at your computer with no time to get up and stretch? Is your back sore as a result?

If so, join me in an experiential look at back pain and ways to find relief for back aches, neck pain, lower back tightness, a locked middle back and tensed shoulders.  Practice the tried and true techniques of yoga in an individualized approach that encourages a step by step progression from a deepening awareness of your back, body and mind to a deepening release of pain.

Our 'Yoga to Heal your Back' program is unique. Our students learn to become aware of when and where back pain arises and see how this awareness has an impact on future occurrences. 

We’ll look at body posture and how it might contribute to back pain and back health.

We’ll use particular yoga postures, relaxation, breath work and meditation to stretch, strengthen and bring balance to our backs.

Home and office practice is encouraged and made possible with a personalized program of postures you can take home and adapt to the time you have at home and work.

At Yoga is Divine, we are dedicated to helping people who are experiencing back pain find long term solutions through the practice of yoga. We’ll look at what you are already doing to relieve the pain, where yoga might fit in, and what else you might do to have a comprehensive approach to relieving back pain over the long term.

This might include changing old patterns of holding pain and stress in your body, changes in lifestyle and/or diet, medication and other valuable professional services.  We’ll listen to your needs.
